I Do I Don't
Performance, 2011.

'I do I don't' is what I imagine Søren Kierkegaard was feeling after proposing to Regine Olsen in 1840. He broke off their engagement in 1841 and had this to say about marriage: "If you marry, you will regret it; if you do not marry, you will also regret it; if you marry or if you do not marry, you will regret both; whether you marry or you do not marry, you will regret both."

In 'I do I don't' I continuously crochet rings (ca.20cm in diameter), just before they are finished I unravel and start over.

'I don I don't', 3 hour performance at the side of the stage during a symposium on repetition.
